Lower your hockey fees by helping the YHA sell space in our new ad book!!

The Youth Hockey Association (YHA) is pursuing a new fundraising idea this season that is intended to lower your hockey fees. With your help, we are going to create an ad book for our hockey program. The book will contain information about our hockey program, short biographies on our players and teams and advertisements.

In order for this ad book to be a success, you (parents and families) will need to help sell ad space in the book. For every ad that you or your family sells, you will receive a certain percentage back for your hockey fees. If you sell a full page ad ($250) you will receive 75% of the revenue to apply against your fees, while 25% of the revenue will go to the YHA. For all other size ads, you will receive 60% of the revenue to apply against your fees, and 40% of the revenue will go to the YHA. Please refer to the sponsorship letter for ad pricing. The money that goes to the YHA will be used to cover the initial cost of the ad book. Once the ad book fee has been covered, any remaining money will go to the association for use for the hockey program.

You can begin selling ads at any time, but the last possible date to sell ad space and for ads to be received is September 30, 2009. The YHA has a goal of having the book completed before the Mite Fright Jamboree on October 31, 2009.

When you seek out business please present them with the sponsorship letter and order form. You can sell as many ads as you want. The letter and order form will be available here until the September 30 deadline.
