The Pirates play in the South Suburban Hockey League (SSHL).  All home games are played at the Homewood-Flossmoor Ice Arena.  The girls play a 16 game regular season and participate in Play-offs.  The SSHL is a house hockey league with Co-Ed teams.  The pirates are the ONLY girls team that particiaptes in the league.  The Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI) allows all girls teams to "play down" 1 division to be more competitive. The Pirates U14 team is allowed to play in the Peewee Division, the U12 Pirates team is allowed to play in the Squirt Division.
